Training session called 'Talking with Kids about Relationships'. Presented by The Arc Livingston and LACASA. This picture describes what the training session is all about, and who could sign up for this free training. There is a picture of a small group of children from different ethnicities and races sitting in a circle and talking to one another. Date shows that this training takes place on March 10th.

About the session: As parents and guardians, we understand that talking about sexuality can be a difficult task. We often worry whether talking about it gives permission and whether they can be safe from harm when they are in relationships. This session will help you become more comfortable discussing this topic by exploring what to cover when and the most effective ways to talk about this sensitive topic.

Goals in this session:

1. Examine barriers to talking about sexuality.

2. Gain knowledge about sexuality and developmental disabilities.

3. Acquire and practice skills in communicating about sexuality with our children.
