Does your child:

  • Have an IEP?
  • Have a 504 plan?
  • Or do you have questions about whether they should have additional supports due to a disability or suspected disability?

If “yes” to any of these, our Advocates can help!

Educational Services

The Arc Livingston’s Advocates serve as a resource to families of children and adults with disabilities from birth to 26 years of age who are involved in the education system.

Advocates provide information, support and mentoring to help families through the educational planning process.

All services are provided free of charge by the generosity of our community.

Educational support is tailored based on each family’s needs, but may include:

  • Support to understand the IEP/504 plan process
  • If requested, attend on-going educational meetings with the family
  • Specialized services for children with disabilities who are experiencing foster care
