The Larry Prout Jr (The Bear) Courage Fund helps University of Michigan Mott Hospital families whose loved ones are enduring complex medical issues with gas, food, utilities, clothes, emergency auto and home repairs, and many other basic necessities, that become hardships when a family is facing the medical crisis of a loved one. The Arc Livingston supports children and adults with disabilities with advocacy services and other needs. Both non profits have teamed up to continue to raise funds for both causes.

The 1 mile and 5k course is a turnaround course that is paved and wheelchair friendly.
